Snow Day!!

That's right, Spokane Valley, Washington is getting dumped on today with lots of pretty big white snowflakes! It's a little strange...but I love it!

Not the best picture...but this is part of our front yard today, along with my neighbors across the street.

This is a small area of our backyard and our neighbor's place to the west of us. It's been snowing since early this morning, and I have a feeling it's not stopping anytime soon. Mother Nature is a little late...this is what it should've looked like 2 months ago! But it's alright...I LOVE snow days!!! :-D

Snow...Snow...and MORE Snow!

It's a Winter wonderland in my part of the world! 

I thought I would share a few photos I took in December.

This is part of my front yard after the largest and longest snowfall so far this Winter. We've got lots more since I snapped this photo. The large tree to the right doesn't normally fall so close to the ground. Some of the trees have so much snow on them, that huge branches have broken off.

This is part of my backyard. Conan is inspecting the huge branch that fell. Notice how deep the snow is by seeing only half of my dog's legs. Those are young Chinese Maple trees that are completely bent over by the weight of the snow.

Conan loves the snow! He also likes making lots of trails too. Good for when he needs another poddy break. ;)

Let it Snow!

We are getting dumped on in the Northwest! At least the northeastern side of the state. And it's cold! Single digits for the next few days.

This is only part of my backyard! Snapped this photo this morning while it was lightly snowing. And no...that is not a real squirrel on the tree. lol!

We're gonna have to dust these babies off and have some fun around the neighborhood! ;-D YEEHAW!!
